THE AXTELL’S
We made a commitment early on in our marriage to stay close to the family ranch and raise our children on the family farm.
Caden 13, Westen 11, Hudsen 8, and Dawsen 5. All take part in helping on the farm and ranch. They love this life style and we enjoy sharing it with others.
Also being a grain farmer Casey learned through the years importance to being diversified. A dream of his was to take out the middle man and sell his cattle direct to the consumer.
As a family we are committed to raising quality beef. We want you to trust and know where your beef comes from.
We've built a passion to feed other families and bring you the most flavorful meat in the area from our Ranch to your Family.
We are raising all of our cattle from birth to butcher. Using registered Red Angus bulls that we hand pick for their marbling content and structure. We butcher all our cattle at a at 17-22 months to provide tender quality meat.
We strive to create a happy and stress-free home for all of our livestock. We take pride in their nutrition and care all year long. Ax Bar Ranch runs cattle out to lush grass pasture 6 months out of year. In the winter the cattle arrive back to the ranch and are fed a mixture of Grass and Alfalfa hay.
We produce our own barley feed and hay to ensure the quality of the feed given to our animals.
Our Beef is finished 30-90 days plus on rolled barley that Casey plants, harvest, and grinds himself.
We also dry age our beef for up to 21 days to insure consistency. All the beef here is butchered under 22 months. We believe this will allow our customers to receive the most flavorful consistent and tender meat.
All of our meat is processed in a USDA certified facility that follows strict safety and quality inspection before it ever reaches your plate.
We look forward to you adding Ax Bar Ranch meats to your table.
Our family is grateful to be able to share what we love with you.
